First Post in My New Life

Well after 9 years and 8 days I am officially – no longer employed at Quadralay or WebWorks. For nine years I had the privilege of working with some great people, and I mean both customers & co-workers. I always enjoyed the work; during the past nine years I have learned valuable lessons in business, customer relations and of course I have seen first hand how technologies have progressed. Nine years ago the Web was relatively new medium and very few people knew the difference between http:/ and HTML. Google what was that?

Now we are emerging in a new era of social networking and other exciting technologies – Twitter, FaceBook, Wikis, iPone and Blogs.

This next frontier is where I am going to be. I am going to start a consulting firm (more to follow – stay tuned). I even have my first gig – I am blessed that my daughter sang at the school mass this morning, after mass Fr Steve asked me to help him with his new iPhone. So on Monday I am going to teach our Pastor how to use his new iPhone. I already love this new gig!
