Pinstripe Social Media was founded by Andrew VanConas, a recognized expert in online user assistance. Andrew has more than 15 years of experience helping people utilize technology in an efficient way . He has a personable approach to technology that helps people understand complex topics quickly. Starting as a Technical Writer in the earlly 1990s, Andrew has witnessed the many shifts in the way we digest information — from paper and PDF to Web sites , email and Blogs — yet still there will never be a “paperless” office!

Andrew helped establish online user assistance systems at companies inclulding Cisco, Dell, WebEx, Google, EMC , which are still in use today. Over the last five years, Andrew turned his attention to the local Ventura community, and has volunteered his time to create blogs and web sites for several non-profit organizations and businesses. Through these experiences, Andrew recognized that many local businesses and organizations do not have an effective online marketing model , and are not taking advantage of tools like blogs, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, SlideShare and others, that make it very easy for a small business to publish online information .
